Biography

Oliver Wang, or DJ Mushu, first came in contact with DJing when he received a beginner all in one unit for Christmas one year. After learning how to beat match and put together some basic mixes, he upgraded to a pair of CD players, and a beginner's mixer and was soon providing music for various school and corporate events throughout Bay Area with his company, DMP Executive DJ Services. With experiences in both formal and informal settings, DJ Mushu is able to rock a crowd from age 7 to 70. He began his career in the SF club scene when he turned 18 and used his eclectic musical taste combined with his experience of formal events to perform a cross genre set that was guaranteed to rock the crowd night in and night out.

He now attends University of California, Irvine, where he is on his way to a degree in Electrical Engineering. Being in Southern California has influenced him more towards electric dance music, and the audience can often find him crossing between Hip Hop/Top 40/House and Trance. Besides DJing, he also has a strong interest in various sports, particularly basketball, and can often be found running up and down the court with his friends.
