Sunset wasteland formed in early 2012 from central New Jersey, US. The former school mates and long time friends common interests in the EDM genres are what brought them together for this multi genre production/DJ project.

John Gafanha started as a musician early at the age of 5 with the piano, progressing into guitar, bass, and drums with a hardcore metal background. He started experimenting wit...h electronic production and DJing at 17 years old and has been expanding his knowledge in the craft ever since.

Rahul Wadhwani came from a hip-hop background. At the first touch of DJ equipment he immediately knew this was his passion at 17 years old. Over the years he began working on his own productions, learning and mastering a wide variety of DAWs.

Adrian Arca, although not having a musicians background until early 2011, was always a lover of multiple EDM genres and followed the scene closely. He began learning sound design, theory, and production/engineering from the rest of the crew, and his extreme motivation and love for the music allowed him to pick it up at a very fast pace.

Bruno Giuffrida started creating mashups of his favorite hardstyle/ hard house tracks during his early teen years and from there began to work on his own original productions in a variety of genres from classic house as far as electro. DJing has always been a major part of his life throughout his learning period of production.
