Biography

Dj Noquit or Mihai Cristian had his first musical contact at the age of 4 when he recived as a gift a Walkman and some tapes with Michael Jackson. By the age of 10-12 was already familiar with artist such as Bon Jovi, Prince, Madonna, Metallica, ABBA, Queen, U2, The Police or George Michael. After this followed music genres such as hip-hop, rap, disco and dance. Meanwhile he was creating pre-amplifiers acoustic speakers and mixtapes recorded in stereo Sharp.

The artist Sash! with his song ‘’Adelante’’ opened his apetite for house music around the year 2001. Soon he bought the first volume of House Music Nation, quickly followed by the rest 10 volumes. Artist such as Sonique, Tiesto, Armin van Buren, David Guetta and Eric Prydz makes him cherish more this kind of music and since then, his house culture begins to define.

During an online research he came across Jhonathan Lewis’s tutorials on the art of mixing and in three weeks of previews, was first making contact with a DJ behind the desk. This was the moment in wich he realized what he really wants to do in the future. He bought a set of players and a mixer Behringer dx626 cdj100s to begin what he proposed. Then he saw a presentation of Richie Hawtin on a digital set-up, wich led him to sell the old set of players and buy a digital one based on Traktor Pro, wich obviously opened new horizons and possibilities in the mixing art.

Dj Noquit plays house, vocal-house, tech-house with influences from minimal, techno and progressive house.

 House Anarchy it’s all about Underground House Music, only with house, vocal-house, tech-house influences from minimal-tech, techno and progresive, music that makes u wanna scream.
