History
For the past eleven years, Mixology’s Winter Music Conference events have been the place to be. In 2001, the party began at the Raleigh Hotel pool and ended at sunrise as Mixology closed the WMC 2001 at world-famous Nikki Beach, where an all-star lineup of celebrities, DJs, industry heavyweights and club goers heard the likes of Carl Cox, Seb Fontaine and Mixology’s own Mark Lewis.
Mixology picked up the pace in 2002 with an opening party at Level, a 3,000 capacity marvel that is called “The Crown Jewel of South Beach” and a line up including Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul and Bad Boy Bill. Once again it closed the conference at Nikki Beach, with DJs like Carl Cox and Steve Lawler keeping the capacity crowd in a frenzy.
In 2003, Mixology introduced a new direction at Level by focusing on cutting edge new talent, such as the UK Radio One’s Judge Jules, John Fleming and, in a live performance, Greyarea. This vision attracted more than 2,500 guests, including representatives of the various media networks and leaders in the dance community.
