Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life. ~Beethoven
Jazzy, soulful, deep, latin rhythms, and afro beats are the best words to describe Kristine Dava’s sound. Influenced by her father’s love for jazz music, she started messing with the decks in early 2004 and quickly caught on to the technical and creative aspects of deejaying. Her natural abilities and great ear for house music has been her stamp everywhere she plays. Kristine Dava’s skill and knack for promotion has earned her gigs in multiple hotspots up and down California, including Remedy, Temple, The End Up, Mezzanine, Infusion Lounge, Pink, Mission Rock, Loft 11, 111 Minna, Azul, Circolo in SF; Somar and 3411 Lounge in Oakland; Cardiff Lounge, Bamboo Lounge, and the Detox Daytime Party in the South Bay Area; Detroit Bar in Orange County; Dragonfly, Brew It Up, and House on the Hill in Sacramento, and of course, Soul Camp. She also has a residency at Temple and Infusion Lounge in SF & at Cardiff Lounge in Campbell with her husband and HouseMen co-founder Paolo Dava. Although only being in the industry for a few years, she has definitely made it known that she is the real deal and she will always work in trying to improve her craft. Future plans include more gigs not only local but across the nation and internationally. Don’t miss out every time you see her on the flyer. Your ears and dancing feet will definitely be in for a treat.
