Good job on those buttons bro. I'm working on making that a standard for the dj templates. I've got a lot on my to do list =) BTW, we are moving to a standard dj profile look.. .meaning no more customization of colors etc. BUT we are going to tighten up the look of the profile page no doubt. Just a heads up!

@DjAdjust: man yeah some of the releases on those old labels had a lot of good harder edge cuts. Especially like on Roulé with Trax on Da Rocks 1 and 2 and Spinal Scratch. Massive tracky cuts I used to mix in with my tech or hard house sets. A good example would be this mix I call Nightmoves. I havent uploaded it yet here on ILHM but its on my website here

I mixed that in about 1998. Ya know I pitched stuff up quite a bit back in the day to. So a lot of releases on like Shaboom, Stickman, and Paper had a whole different feel to it.

Check out and download NIGHTMOVES if you're interested in some harder stuff. I'll probably post it here to ILHM sometime soon anyways..

All very good labels Joe, surprised too to see some of the more underground type house labels like Moody, Peppermint Jam, Roulé, Strictly, etc. dropped harder house. I will definitely take a listen once I have all the time to =P since I'm still listening little by little. In the meantime between time, take it easy!

@DjAdjust: Man the list goes on as far as labels. My early Motivator Series mixes just by scrolling through them had tracks from Bush , Rotation, Moody, Saw, Peppermint Jam, Paper recordings, Nova mute, Shaboom, Subliminal, Armed Records, Roulé, Vertigo, Fresh Fruit Records, Subversive, Pssst Music, Hooj choons, Yoshi Toshi,Sm:)e Communications, Concrete, Moonshine, Formaldehyd, Hope Recordings, Tidy Trax, Strictly Rythm.. And thats just Motivators 3 and 5. Various other lil small underground labels as well thrown up in there to I cant remember off hand. I never really got to progressive. I always stuck with a certain sound when shopping for records. I liked that peaktime 2am vibe.. so I always picked tracks that were shall we say "busy"? Like they had a lot going on at once musically..

I did have some tracks that were harder dance or harder house that I mixed in with my techno sets.. But I never went the full on hard house. I didnt like it to be honest.

Tidy Trax was about the only label that was Harder House I played.

Man I havent even upped any of my hard tech mixes yet ha ha. I was trying to stay more on the housey or tech house side for the site..

thanks for the comments on my deep house promo =) I've already had a chance to listen your slow burning set which is definitely calmer than your Motivator Series, but I've only begun to go there! When I think back to the early 2000's, and when I spun a lot of Progressive & progressive House, I had a lot of Nukleuz, Greedy, Groove Nation & Abstract. I'm just curious, in your motivator series what kinds of labels were you playing?
