Biography

JASON TOKITA has been a driving force behind San Diego's house music movement with his renowned Injoy parties.  For over a decade seamless execution on every medium: DJ, Promoter and now Producer have garnered him recognition from House Music's top industry professionals.

In a span of six years, Tokita has rubbed elbows with some of the biggest Electronic Acts in the World such as Deep Dish, Erick Morillo, Deadmau5, Green Velvet, Kaskade, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Ben Watt, Lee Burridge, Claude Von Stroke and Doc Martin to name just a few.

The left coast has been Jason's playground holding residencies in Seattle, San Diego and SF and headlining at some of the most sought after parties like Flammable at ReBar in Seattle, 2nd Sunday and the infamous End Up in San Francisco, as well as places like Bar D Wednesdays, On Broadway and 4th&B in San Diego.

In 2008, Tokita was acquired by Moulton Media in San Francisco, formally known as Moulton Studios, one of the nation's most sought after recording studios for underground electronic dance music.  Under the instruction of Grammy nominated producer/DJ, Chris Lum, Jason is in the process of creating quite a catalog of his own original material.  Tokita’s first productions are already being hammered by Derrick Carter, Lawnchair Generals and Giom with a promising future ahead as a producer and remixer.

Jason has recently teamed with good friend Matthew Brian, renowned producer from Kansas City under the alias, PRAIRIE DOGZ and will also be releasing a string of jams in the very new future.
