Biography

This Dutch artist, born as Yorick Bierstekers and raised in Venray, located in the south-region of liberal Holland, has been experimenting with sound since hte age of 12. Playing with synthesizers combined with evolving dataskills, he was able to create his own sound, majorly with catching melodies.

Yorick continued this path, developing himself by playing gigs at several occasions, with a heart, mainly dedicated for Trance, dance, club and house music.

Creating his own productions, and playing them on his gigs, made it possible to evolve his skills by checking the responses. After the introduction of Home PC and midi keyboards his sounds got more advanced and improved in quality.

The past years he has been known under nickname "Deejay Joyka", and produced some collaborations with developing artist, such as Jayme Xaya, Lise Olden and K-LeigH, as well as several other (jet) unknown artist.

As for the future, he wil continue developing by expanding his number of gigs (hopefully by crossing borders worldwide), and he hopes, and believes, that his musical quality will continue rising to new levels, with new productions and remixes coming up, as a treat to listeners worlwide...
