Because of his patience in and out of the decks, Ali Nepomuceno locally known as ALINEP is heralded as one of Manila’s respected artists. He has been admired by the Electronic music community through his DJing skills and taste for music.

Born to a family where music played a vital part of everyday life, Ali Nepomuceno was put into music classes at an early age. He learned the basic fundamentals of the drums through his father and the melodies of the guitar from his brother, who fascinated Ali with Acid jazz. From collecting tapes of jazz bands and listening to them, playing and analyzing a friend’s DJ equipment, Ali started off towards the path of becoming a DJ. He started playing at a friend’s lounge and soon after got shots at playing in different bars through recommendations by friends and colleagues. In the long run, his maturity in music paid off and was rewarded with affiliations with different DJ management groups and events companies. Since 2007, he is having his regular stints at the country’s one and only underground club – Warehouse 135. He also plays for Driven Manila, spinning for the latter’s international and local events. At the same year, Ali has played in different club venues in major cities in the country and headliner gigs with international DJs and artists – Colette (OM Records), Steve Porter (Porterhouse, NYC), Shunji Moriwaki (8ball, NYC) & Steve Walker.

Ali Nepomuceno's live promotional dj mixes have reached other countries like the United States, China and some major cities in Asia. Aside from DJing, Ali’s also in music sound clipping, promotion of events and PR writing.

Recently, Ali Nepomuceno has played alongside DJ Aldrin of Zouk, Asia's best DJ export, Gary Gecko of Koh Samui and Trance Master, John 00 Fleming and Digital Blonde. In 2007 also, Ali Nepomuceno founded Manila Underground. Manila Underground is an organization that ventures deeper in the underground music scene.

Alinep's series of events showcases the young, the talented and upcoming DJs in collaboration with Driven Manila, Frequency Manila, Event Masters Corporation (EMC) and Musik Lokal. Ali Nepomuceno spun for the historical dance floor of Warehouse 135, alongside with his co-residents Martin Lugtu.
